Unsere örtliche Klatschpresse titelte heute unter einem Bild der No Angels:

Eurovision-Hingucker: Die Ukrainerin Ani Lorak setzt auf Porno-Schick, der Rapper 75 Cents auf den Buena-Vista-Charme des Alters. Deutschland setzt auf das Castingwunder No Angels und gilt damit als aussichtslos.

Porno-Schick im Öffentlich-Rechtlichen? Rapper 75 Cents? ... Wenn ich allein diese Bildunterschrift lese, weiß ich, warum ich den Eurovision Song Contest nicht schaue. Gerade hab ich dann den Fehler begangen, doch mal reinzuzappen und bin beim Schnelldurchlauf durch alle 25 Performances gelandet. Und ich muss sagen: Schlimmster Mainstream-Pop, übelster Disko-Sound und alles auf Hochglanz poliert in schicken Uniförmchen.
Die einzig positiven Beiträge liefern meiner Meinung nach Spanien mit einem Austin Powers-Verschnitt mit Elvis-Haaren und rosafarbener Kleinkindgitarre (Rodolfo Chikilicuatre - Baila El Chiki Chiki), Frankreich mit rockendem Sixties-Opa (Sébastien Tellier - Divine) und Irland mit singendem Truthahn (Dustin the Turkey - Irelande Douze Pointe). Das ist wenigstens Trash pur und sticht aus dem schrecklichen Mainstreambrei hervor. Wofür soll ich sonst einschalten?
