Fernsehen: War das nicht einmal Unterhaltung und Information, gepaart mit ein wenig Unsinn? Sollte Fernsehen nicht dazu dienen, jedermanns Leben zu bereichern, den Informationsfluss zu erleichtern und die Gemüter zu erheitern? Oder war das Fernsehen von Anfang an als riesiges, nichts sagendes dunkles Loch geplant, das zwar das gesamte Leben abbildet, dabei allerdings in keiner Spur unterhaltsam oder informativ ist, aber in ganzer Linie unsinnig?Denn sollte letztere Vermutung stimmen, darf ich meine herzlichen Glückwünsche an wen auch immer richten: Ihr habt es geschafft! Ihr habt es geschafft, Fernsehen banal zu machen, indem ihr einen Sumpf voller Realsatire zeigt, die scheinbar unheimlich relevante Probleme erörtern. Ihr habt es geschafft, ganze Lebensgeschichten in kleine Reality-Dokus zu pressen. Ihr habt es geschafft, die Zuschauer zu verführen, fremde Probleme anzuschauen, fremde Leben zu studieren und ihrem eigenen Leben fremd zu werden. Ihr habt es geschafft, menschliche Abgründe mit einem warmen Lächeln des Moderators der sensationshungrigen Masse als Doku-Soap zu präsentieren. Das schwarze Loch des Fernsehens ist Realitätsfernsehen:

Dir schwirrt der Kopf? Mir auch. Informationen über Informationen, die zeigen, was wir auch täglich selber sehen. Warum schauen wir Reality TV? Weil wir uns freuen, dass unsere Probleme geringer sind als die Probleme derer im Fernsehen? Weil uns langweilig ist? Weil wir kein eigenes Leben haben? Niemand denkt darüber nach.
Aber wenn das sanfte Klicken des Power Off-Knopfes auf der Fernbedienung das bunte Treiben auf dem Bildschirm in ein sanftes Schwarz verwandelt, das Sirren und Gerede und hektische Gestikulieren in beruhigende Stille umschwenkt und das rot leuchtende Licht der Standby-Anzeige die permanente Bereitschaft des Fernsehers signalisiert, jederzeit angestellt zu werden, mich jederzeit mit scheinbar unheimlich wichtigen Informationen zuzudröhnen und mich in eine Welt zu bringen, die real ist, für mich aber in keiner Weise relevant — und ich im Moment der Stille das Gesehene Revue passieren lasse, dann habe ich manchmal das Gefühl, meine Zeit verschwendet zu haben. Mit Reality TV. Scheiße!

Also an mir geht der Reality-Tv-Krempel völlig vorüber. Ich kann einfach nicht verstehen, warum diese Formate so erfolgreich sind. Genauso wenig wie ich verstehen kann, dass sich die dämlichen Ringtones verkaufen.Es gibt so Dinge im Leben, die werden wohl ewig ein Rätsel bleiben.

Klingeltöne sind auch kompletter Schwachsinn. Das einzigst "nützliche" daran ist, dass man erkennt, wenn sein eigenes Handy klingelt - wenn man 'n originellen Klingelton hat. Ansonsten nimmt man doch eh sofort "ab" und hört den Ton danach nicht mehr.. :-\ jakob (04.08.2008 um 00:58)
Tja, es gibt immer Leute, die sowas gucken. Ich schließe mich selber nicht unbedingt aus. xD Aber wenn man sich mal überlegt, womit man seine Zeit vertut, ist es schon bescheuert.Und beim Thema Klingeltöne fällt mir ein, dass ich da noch einen Essay rumliegen habe...;)

Stimmt, das Fernsehprogramm ist deutlich schlechter geworden. Als ich noch klein war, da gab es zumindest immer ein paar Sendungen, die irgendwie wertvoll oder zumindest unterhaltsam waren. Genauso mit modernen Zeichentrickserien, die oft nur noch auf Coolness usw. setzen (z.B. Dragonball), früher wurden noch richtige Werte vermittelt (z.B. He-Man & the Masters of the Universe).
