Ich habe lange überlegt, ob ich mit Sido die Lichtgestalt scheinbar verkommener deutscher Hip Hop-Kultur in meinem Adventskalender präsentieren will. Wie ihr seht, habe ich mich aber entschieden, dass Sidos Weihnachtssong das achte Musikvideo wird.
Einige werden sich bestimmt fragen, was gerade Sido in einem weihnachtlichen Adventskalender zu suchen hat. Denjenigen sei gesagt, dass es sicher einfach ist, zwei, drei bekannte Songs von Sido anzuprangern und ihn als kriminelle Person zu stilisieren, wie es Anfang des Jahrtausends geschehen ist. Subversion, Rebellion und eine gewisse Zweideutigkeit sind zweifelsohne auch Elemente des Hip Hops, die bestimmtes Verhalten rechtfertigen.
Aber davon abgesehen wird derjenige, der sich ohne den gesellschaftlichen Stereotyp des bösen Rappers im Nacken mit Sidos Texten beschäftigt, weit mehr als vulgäre und gewaltverherrlichende Lieder finden.
Interessierten lege ich hier das Maske-Album ans Herz, das weitaus harmloser ist als vieles, was derzeit auf dem Musikmarkt erhältlich ist und das die weitreichenden Diskussionen in den Medien Anfang des Jahrtausends ad absurdum führt.
Das Thema weiter auszuführen, ist in diesem Rahmen unangebracht, aber ich wünsche euch die nötige Portion Ironie, Sido als kleine Rebellion in der kunterbunten und heilen Weihnachtswelt zu erkennen. Immerhin wird der Songs seit fünf Weihnachten jährlich entstaubt und neu verlegt. Zudem sind Beat und Text mit einem kleinen Augenzwinkern einfach als gut anzusehen. ;)
