Mein detaillierter Silvesterbericht ist leider einer kleinen Unachtsamkeit zum Opfer gefallen, die mir anschließend die Motivation raubte, einen neuen zu schreiben. Da das neue Jahr eh schon wieder fast vorbei ist, notiere ich nur stichwortartig die Höhepunkte meiner Silvesterfeier:

Nach zweijähriger Garagenfete aufgrund mangelnder Organisation verschlug es uns im finalen Abiturjahr nach Berlin, um im Kreise von Studenten, Drogen und Alkohol das neue Jahr zu begrüßen - zumindest waren das unsere Vorstellungen
Statt szeniger Kneipe landeten wir beim offiziellen Feuerwerk am Brandenburger Tor bzw. Unter den Linden, wo sich inmitten von Tausenden kleine Freiflächen gebildet hatten, in denen geböllert wurde - die ein oder andere Rakete verfehlte auch ihr Ziel und flog in eine schreiend auseinanderrennende Menschenmenge...
Der Neujahrsabend war die eigentliche Krönung der Berlinfahrt: Nach einer Fressorgie durch Wurstbuden, amerikanische Heiß- und Süßwarengeschäfte sowie trendige Asiashops musste der innere Schweinehund entscheiden: Kneipe oder Bett? Wir wählten nach längerer Unentschlossenheit ersteres und landeten in einer Trinkhalle am Kotti, die mit peterfoxesken Kellnern, Hirschplastiken, japanischen Winkekatzen und einem an die Wand projizierten Frauenkopf aufwartete, dem Wasser aus den Augenlöchern in ein darunter montiertes Waschbecken lief
Welch Wunder, stellte sich doch nach kurzer Zeit heraus, dass wir in einer alternativen Künstlerlokalität gelandet waren. Dort traf man unter anderem auf Wolfgang, Islandfreund, freischaffender Künstler, Autor und Sänger, der uns nach kurzem Gespräch mit der Kreuzberger Kneipenszene bekannt machte. Ein recht witziger Abend!
Und dann gingen Piggeldi und Frederick (und wir auch) nach Hause...
